How To Make Peanut Butter Cookies

For this project, I began thinking about all the ways to do this project deep and try to portray the atrocities of today. However, it was way too heavy for me because my grandparents recently got COVID, and we had to isolate ourselves from all our friends and family. We will still make thanksgiving and good food, but instead of the gathering, we prepared a bunch of different meals for my grandparent and my uncle, who also got COVID. On top of everything, my aunt is going through Chemo, and we have been doing a lot of deliveries to their family. Instead of doing something morse and dark, I thought about the positive side to spending time away from friends and extended family: baking. We have made dozens of cookies and meals for the people around us, enabling us to connect without coming in contact. Thus I thought it would make me a little happier to share the positive side of COVID rather than the negativity. The best news is I found out that my dad, who was in contact with my grandpa, who has COVID, is negative—praying for the safety and health of my family and everyone.

As for the three perspectives of this video, I worked on differing camera placements. One camera was set to the side of my sister making cookies. One was up to her head, and the last was a first-person point of view from my sister. We had such a great time filming.
